…consequently, Fr. Tony goes on to say that I need to spend more “time asking myself, ‘Where am I❓'” He even gave me a series of questions in that regard for me to answer, with the first question being as “always the hardest”: “Where am I❓ Am I found in the coolness of the evening walking with God in the Garden of this life❓”
…therefore, if instead of the Sod Poodles, Fr. Tony wants to go synodal, how can I do anything but join him…
Have I not told you: Be strong and stand firm❓

Our task is not one of producing persuasive propaganda; Christianity shows its greatness when it is hated by the world.

…because, after all, wasn’t Fr. Tony, by sitting for an interview with the Soddies, simply blessed with a rain-out that made us despair and sad; but had he been sitting in the confessional, wouldn’t there have been rejoicing, gladness and rewards in heaven; …
…so Fr. Tony, do you think that when I tell you, “Where am I❓”, that I will respond by telling you that, “I am where the Blessed are:
- full of spirit for the Soddies…
- rejoicing that their priest canceled confessions…
- proud of their priest for taping a sign that says, “Will Be at the Sod Poodles” on the door of a confessional…
- hungering and thirsting for peanuts and Cracker Jack…
- merciful towards a priest who unmercifully crushed under his feet both the principal and cafeteria manager of St. Mary’s school so that they no longer felt welcome to attend their parish, let alone a Sod Poodles game…
- already clean of heart and not in need of confessions anyway.
- the peacemakers who keep the peace by thinking, “I, as a lay person, do not always have all the knowledge”; while it is quite probable that the deacon, priest or bishop has a much fuller picture of what is actually happening.”
- thinking that Fr. Tony is being persecuted for the sake of righteousness❓
