Monday of the Tenth Week in Ordinary Time

Blessed are…”

Mark 5:3-11, from Today’s Gospel

Fr. Tony tells me that I “spend a lot of time asking God where He is” and where he, Fr. Tony, is when they are not at Mass or confessions that have been canceled;…

This notice taped to the door of the confessional was the only notice given to those who were wanting “in the coolness of the evening” to be found “walking with God in the garden of this life” through the Sacrament of Reconciliation that Fr. Tony was not sitting in the confessional but had gone to the ballpark “of this life” to sit for an interview at the Sod Poodles Game.

…consequently, Fr. Tony goes on to say that I need to spend more “time asking myself, ‘Where am I❓'” He even gave me a series of questions in that regard for me to answer, with the first question being as “always the hardest”: “Where am I❓ Am I found in the coolness of the evening walking with God in the Garden of this life❓”

…therefore, if instead of the Sod Poodles, Fr. Tony wants to go synodal, how can I do anything but join him…

Have I not told you: Be strong and stand firm❓

from today’s First Reading of the Office, Joshua 1: 1-18

“…during these years there shall be no dew or rain except at my word.”

from today’s First Mass Reading, 1 Kings 17:1,

…and that this “persuasive propaganda” of his has still left St. Mary’s cathedral in the drought it has experienced for years;…

Our help is from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.

from today’s Responsorial Psalm, Psalm 121:2

…isn’t it time for us to realize that “Our help is from the Lord”, not the Soddies;…

Rejoice and be glad;
for your reward will be great in heaven.

Today’s Alleluia, Matthew 5:12

…because, after all, wasn’t Fr. Tony, by sitting for an interview with the Soddies, simply blessed with a rain-out that made us despair and sad; but had he been sitting in the confessional, wouldn’t there have been rejoicing, gladness and rewards in heaven; …

…so Fr. Tony, do you think that when I tell you, “Where am I❓”, that I will respond by telling you that, “I am where the Blessed are:
