Seventeenth Sunday in Ordinary Time
Are we objecting to setting before the survivors of our “serious mistake” any amends because we believe it would not be enough to satisfy them?
But his servant objected,
“How can I set this before a hundred people?”
Elisha insisted, “Give it to the people to eat.”

Is it not the season to give the survivors of John Anthony Salazar’s “second chance” from Bishop Matthiesen their due?
R. The hand of the Lord feeds us; he answers all our needs.
The eyes of all look hopefully to you,
and you give them their food in due season;

Can we, “with all humility and gentleness, with patience,” bear with the survivors of our “serious mistake” “through love”?
He is projected to be released on January 21, 2023. What will be the status of his dedication at that time?

Are we afraid to do anything for the survivors of our “serious mistake” because the “UCA quota” (which is one of the consequences of our “serious mistake”) leaves us with no leftover mercy to share?

7/5/21: Why wasn’t the livestreamed 9:30 Mass from the Cathedral on July 4, posted on You Tube as Masses usually are on Sundays?
7/9/21: Instead of simply answering my question about the posting of the 9:30 Mass for Independence Day; why were all the other normally posted Masses removed?
7/16/21: UPDATE: Is not posting on You Tube the Sunday 9:30 Livestreamed Mass to be the “new normal”?…If so, why?
7/18/21: At today’s 9:30 Mass it was announced that in an effort to avoid providing the service of “Mass on demand”, livestreamed Masses will only be posted until 2:00 PM on the Sunday they are streamed.
This has all been well and good, but when will my original question that started this whole series of questions be answered:

Today I pray that those of us in the Diocese of Amarillo, but especially those at St. Mary’s Cathedral and, “the few” , listen to Bishop Zurek’s concern in “A Reflection on Christian Life“, and realize that he, as Bishop Matthiesen was, is willing to protect his priests at all cost; perhaps then we will recognize any further “sign” of, the legacy of clergy abuse in our diocese .
