..you shall no longer exalt yourself
Why, in this Post Roe era, do we exalt ourselves with MAGA, who wants to be with where Americans stand on the issue of abortion and gets on a pedestal of superiority along with ANTI-ANTI-abortionists (i.e., Fr. Pavone, March for Life…) who hypocritically condemn pro-abortionist who are doing the same thing they are: profiting from the lobbying for a Constitutional right to abort multitudes of innocents❓
#banhypocrisy
“In essence, dear brothers and sisters, hypocrisy is the greatest danger, because it can even ruin the most sacred realities. Hypocrisy is a serious danger. This is why the Baptist — as Jesus would be later — is harsh with hypocrites.”
Pope Francis
“Allowing abortions from conception to 15 weeks is the least we can do to protect women, as well as babies who at this stage are not already fully formed in their mother’s womb and cannot feel pain. It is consistent with what we know from science about the benignity of early abortion, as well as in line with where Americans stand on the issue.”
March for Life Statement on Upcoming 2023 March
The Lord hears the cry of the poor.
Why are we making ourselves a God to MAGA’s measure, a God to use, that justifies just being anti-anti-abortionist who rally for a “Pain Capable Ban” that does not hear the cry of the poor from conception to 15 weeks; instead of being pro-lifers who stand in “radical solidarity” with mothers and babies — both born and unborn in the bringing about of a “Life at Conception Act“❓
…forgive the sins of your people.
What is your opinion: why wouldn’t God forgive the sin of rallying with ANTI-ANTI-abortionist (i.e., Priests for Life, March for Life…), like we always do in January, when it was only later that we discovered they were storming the Capitol this January with MAGA for a “Pain Capable Ban” that will overturn the overturning of Roe❓
“…you did not later change your minds…“
Mt: 21:32
The modern Conservative no longer conserves. He is avowedly an innovator. Thus all their current defenses which describe MAGA as a bulwark against the mob, are intellectually done for; the bottom has fallen out of them; because on five or six of the most turbulent topics of the day, MAGA is a mob itself; and exceedingly likely to behave like one.
G.K. Chesterton, “What’s Wrong With the World“
When we fail to acknowledge as part of reality the worth of a poor person, a human embryo, a person with disabilities – to offer just a few examples – it becomes difficult to hear the cry of nature itself; everything is connected.
Pope Francis, Laudato si’
