The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity

The Trinity (or sometimes called “The Hospitality of Abraham”),
Painted by Andrei Rublev (circa 1360-circa 1430),
Painted 1411 or 1425–27,
Tempera on panel

Their faces are identical, accentuating that they are co-equal. The figures gaze into eternity in the state of motionless contemplation. In the background, Rublev painted a house (supposedly Abraham’s house), a tree (the Oak of Mamre), and a mountain (Mount Moriah).

Why does Bishop Zurek want me to think he is “superior, privileged, placed ‘above’ and therefore separated from the rest” of the baptized even though we were both “created in the image and likeness of the Trinitarian God“, and both baptized in the “name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit” who are all equal to each other…

“and fix in your heart, that the LORD is God in the heavens above and on earth below, and that there is no other.…”

From Today’s 1st Reading, Deuteronomy 4:39

…likewise, how can I fix in my heart who is LORD at St. Mary’s Cathedral when daily Masses and confessions that are ordered to the One God are regularly canceled and replaced with activities that are ordered to the image and success of Father Tony…

Was it not enough of a “sign” that after canceling confessions the game was a rain-out❓In our detached and haughty attitude will we cancel confessions again❓

Blessed the people the Lord has chosen to be his own.

From Today’s Responsorial Psalm, Psalm 33:12

…accordingly, why do I want to just hide “behind appearances of religiosity and love for St. Mary’s Cathedral Church” as Bishop Zurek and Father Tony tell me that they are above getting into the details about why our Cathedral School principal and cafeteria manager are no longer chosen to be of the Lord’s own who call St. Mary’s Cathedral home, and to just realize that “I, as a lay person, do not always have all the knowledge”; and that the deacon, priest or bishop has a much fuller picture of what is actually happening…

Wasn’t it governing with clericalism that led Bishop Zurek and Fr. Tony to decide that this “chosen” family were no longer welcome at St. Mary’s Catholic Cathedral Parish❓

For you did not receive a spirit of slavery to fall back into fear,

From Today’s 2nd Reading, Romans 8:15

…moreover, why am I tempted “to fall back into fear” and “a spirit of slavery” about Bishop Zurek crushing me under his feet if I post about how his detached and haughty attitude makes it difficult for me to cry out, “Abba Father” and see myself as “joint heirs with Christ”…

Glory to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit;
to God who is, who was, and who is to come.

Alleluia Verse from Revelations 1:8

…hence, will I give glory to the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit in whose names I’ve been baptized; or succumb to the clericalism which brings about “human glory and personal well-being”

“…teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.”

From Today’s Gospel Mark 10:15

…believing that I am unequal to my fellow baptized who are ‘merchants of the spirit’, men clothed in sacred forms who in reality continue to think and act according to the fashions of the world” instead of teaching me to observe all that Jesus has commanded…

48. The Church also takes a stand against the practice of surrogacy, through which the immensely worthy child becomes a mere object. On this point, Pope Francis’s words have a singular clarity: “The path to peace calls for respect for life, for every human life, starting with the life of the unborn child in the mother’s womb, which cannot be suppressed or turned into an object of trafficking. In this regard, I deem deplorable the practice of so-called surrogate motherhood, which represents a grave violation of the dignity of the woman and the child, based on the exploitation of situations of the mother’s material needs. A child is always a gift and never the basis of a commercial contract. Consequently, I express my hope for an effort by the international community to prohibit this practice universally.”[92]

PARAGRAPH 48 of Declaration of the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith “Dignitas Infinita” on Human Dignity

…besides, how can I deem deplorable surrogacy and all the other grave practices enumerated in the deacon’s homily on this Solemnity of the Holy Trinity if I don’t first deem deplorable the spiritual worldliness of clericalism that has taken ahold of our parish; because, “as Dr. Phil would say, ‘How is that working for you❓”…

Water poured over the body of a child in Baptism is a sign of new life.

From Paragraph 23 of ENCYCLICAL LETTER LAUDATO SI’ OF THE HOLY FATHER FRANCIS ON CARE FOR OUR COMMON HOME

…subsequently, since water poured over the baptized is a sign of new life, …

…am I going to live that new life believing that I’m under the “power and control” of those who think the “reception of holy orders or the exercise of sacramental ministry is something magical, like a “moon baptism”, individually possessed and independent of the rest of the baptized”
