Was Fr. Tony “following (his) own desires“, (desired to sleep in; wanted to “troll” me; fancied seeing his picture in the West Texas Catholic again; all of the above) for human glory and personal well-being.” when he had the regularly scheduled Friday 7am Mass that would have been his celebration of The Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus canceled…
… consequently, if my conscience says it was, how can I say that “I will sing of your salvation.“; if I continue to give into “‘merchants of the spirit’, men clothed in sacred forms who in reality continue to think and act according to the fashions of the world”…
… hence, since I proclaim, “Blessed is the Virgin Mary who kept the word of God and pondered it in her heart“;…
…when I come to the celebration of the Memorial of the Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary, shouldn’t I remember that in “everything we do God considers our disposition rather than our actions“, and if my disposition in pondering on Facebook is to keep the word of God instead of Fr. Tony’s “spiritual worldliness” in my heart, isn’t what Bishop Zurek is saying about my posting simply governing with clericalism; and can I not be at peace knowing that I “and his mother kept all these things in her heart“❓
