Saturday of the Tenth Week in Ordinary Time

“Let your ‘Yes’ mean ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No’ mean ‘No.'”

Matthew 5:37, from Today’s Gospel

With daily Masses and confessions at St. Mary’s Cathedral, and the evangelization of Totus Tuus, and The One Summer Conference having already been canceled without a word from Bishop Zurek, do you think that Bishop Zurek will simply mean to say ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ to the Diocese of Amarillo participating in the 2024 National Eucharistic Revival,…❓

…Father Tony, with true synodality, asked me, “Where am I❓ Am I delving deeper and deeper into the gifts of His Word and Sacrament so that I may become more like The Christ❓”; subsequently, if the “spiritual worldliness and clericalism” that Bishop Zurek has promoted in the diocese has “done anything to” me, it is that in refuting it I have had to delve deeper and deeper into the the gifts of His Word and Sacrament;…

…for when Father Tony, “rather than the faithful administration of the sacraments on behalf of Christ” chooses to act like a mere employee “of a multinational company” that offers “a variety of services”, and by his “desire to control these ‘services'” has the sacraments canceled, thus denying me my Lord, who is my inheritance;…

…didn’t I have to find a way to “Incline (his) heart, O God, to your decrees;
and favor me with your law
“;…

…consequently, since, I “believe God wants to do something NEW” in the Church of Amarillo by “the power of Jesus in the Eucharist”, and that “we stand on the precipice of revival”; but knowing that “revival is not something that WE do, it is a sovereign act of God in response to the prevailing prayers of his people“; shouldn’t I ask Bishop Zurek to, “Let (his) ‘Yes’ mean ‘Yes,’ and (his) ‘No’ mean ‘No” in joining me in praying for revival in the Diocese of Amarillo; for after all, wouldn’t, “Anything more (be) from the Evil One.”❓
