Saturday of the Thirty-second Week in Ordinary Time

Will God “find faith” in me when he comes with our new bishop—faith that called “out to Him day and night” about the “places” where I believe He needs to “secure the “rights” of His chosen ones” in the Diocese of Amarillo —”places” that I believe should become “Areas of shared journeying,” such as:

From Luke 18: 1-8

XVI ORDINARY GENERAL ASSEMBLY

OF THE SYNOD OF BISHOPS
How to be a missionary synodal Church

Defrocked priest and convicted pedophile John Salazar raised this memorial in honor of Bishop Matthiesen, who, after Salazar was convicted of abusing youth in our diocese, stated, “I was never sorry that I went against the Diocese of Los Angeles’ warnings not to hire Salazar!”

Bishop Zurek, for his part, called what Matthiesen did a ‘serious mistake,’ yet the memorial still remains.”

The pluralism of cultures and the fruitfulness of the encounter and dialogue between them are a condition of the Church’s life, an expression of and not a threat to its catholicity. The salvific message remains one and the same: “There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to the one hope of your calling, one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all and through all and in all” (Eph. 4:4-6). ” Accordingly, wouldn’t the removal of a memorial erected by a convicted pedophile priest for a bishop who made a “serious mistake” in his regard not only affect the parish where it stands but also uphold the Church’s catholicity. by securing the “rights” of survivors of clergy abuse and helping them “…in a way worthy of God to continue their journey.“❓

This message is pluriform and expressed in diverse peoples, cultures, traditions, and languages. Taking this plurality of forms seriously avoids hegemonic tendencies and mitigates the risk of reducing the message of salvation to a single understanding of ecclesial life and its liturgical, pastoral, or moral expression.” Yet, in the letter, “A Reflection on Christian Life,” do not “a few” who reported clergy abuse at St. Mary’s Cathedral seem to have no “rights” since they were hegemonically deemed as not being among the “faithful and loyal disciples that the Lord Jesus desires—those of whom it is said, “Blessed the man who fears the Lord.“❓

Father Tony states that Bishop Zurek believes that Canon 905.1 allows a priest to celebrate only one Mass per day; however, does Canon 905.2 not specify that, in cases of a shortage of priests, a priest may be permitted to celebrate a second Mass during the week for a just cause❓
I’ve received no response to this e-mail.

Alleluia, alleluia, “The web of relations within a synodal Church, made visible in the exchange of gifts between the Churches and guaranteed by the unity of the College of bishops headed by the bishop of Rome, is a dynamic guardian of a unity that can never become uniformity.” Conversely, isn’t the aborting of the daily Eucharist at St. Mary’s Cathedral destroying this web of relations within a synodal Church and instead enforcing a uniformity that denies the “rights” by which “God has called us through the Gospel, to possess the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.“❓
Alleluia, alleluia

I’ve Got “rights

Finally, will I succumb to tolerating those who consider themselves more human than others, as if they had been born with greater “rights” to enter into the “Areas of shared journeying” perpetuating their “sins against synodality” that now place our new bishop in a position where he must “Just Say NO❣️” to being “put in his place”❓ Or will I have faith when he comes because I know the answer to the question:

“‘Will not God then secure the rights of his chosen ones who call out to him day and night‘”❓

In practice, we continue to tolerate that some consider themselves more human than others, as if they had been born with greater “rights“.
