Just because the “Son of David” has had “pity on” me by granting me an “expectant faith” that “The service to unity of the Bishop of Rome” includes addressing my concerns within the places within the Diocese of Amarillo—concerns that He has opened my eyes to—does this mean that my “strong desire” for others to see what I see is necessarily what Jesus wants for me❓ Should I go out and #spread word “through all that land” about:
- A memorial erected by a convicted pedophile priest in honor of a bishop who made the “serious mistake” of granting that priest “a second chance,” a decision that ultimately led to the destruction of the innocence of youth.
- A letter that remains on the diocesan website—a letter rebuking “a few” who reported abuse at St. Mary’s Cathedral—casting them aside instead of pursuing justice, healing and reconciliation.
- The abortion of daily Masses at St. Mary’s Cathedral, justified under the guise of fostering “an incredible sense of Reverence for the…Priests and especially for the Bishops“, effectively weaponizing the Eucharist as a tool of power and control—excluding or exiling of members of His Body.
- The construction of a second bishop’s residence, symbolically reinforcing hierarchical dominance and seemingly designed to “put our next bishop in his place” before his arrival.
In my desire for everyone to know about these matters, am I acting in line with Jesus’s will, or am I going against His stern warning in today’s Gospel, Matthew 9:27-31❓

The service to unity of the Bishop of Rome

Bishop Zurek, for his part, called what Matthiesen did a ‘serious mistake,’ yet the memorial still remains.”
“Reflection on the forms of exercise of the Petrine ministry should also be conducted from the perspective of “sound decentralization” (EG 16), as urged by Pope Francis and requested by many Episcopal Conferences. ” Accordingly, must it require a papal decree to remove a memorial erected by a convicted pedophile priest in honor of a bishop who made the “serious mistake” of granting him “a second chance“—a decision that ultimately led to the destruction of innocence—or should news of this atrocity not need to “spread” beyond the local Church in order that “Those who err in spirit shall acquire understanding“❓

“According to the formulation provided by the Apostolic Constitution Praedicate Evangelium (19 March 2022), this entails leaving “to the competence of Bishops the authority to resolve, in the exercise of “their proper task as teachers” and pastors, those issues with which they are familiar and that do not affect the Church’s unity of doctrine, discipline and communion, always acting with that spirit of co-responsibility which is the fruit and expression of the specific mysterium communionis that is the Church.” (PE II, 2), However, was telling “a few” at St. Mary’s Cathedral, —when they reported clergy abuse—that they were not “faithful and loyal disciples that the Lord Jesus desires” truly an example of how a spirit of co-responsibility is “spread” so that in unity we proclaim, “The Lord is my light and my salvation.“❓

Alleluia, alleluia, “To proceed,” couldn’t we “follow the line of the recent Motu Proprio Competentias quasdam decernere (15 February 2022), which assigns “certain areas of competence with regard to the provisions of the Codes intended to safeguard unity of discipline in the universal Church, and executive power in the local Churches and ecclesial institutions on the basis of “the ecclesial dynamic of communion” (Prologue)“to address the decision to abort the daily Eucharist at St. Mary’s Cathedral—for the sake of the priest’s health and spirituality before its practice is “spread” to other parishes, thus preventing others from hearing, “Behold, our Lord shall come with power; he will enlighten the eyes of his servants.“❓
Alleluia, alleluia

Finally, considering that one particularly serious problem is the quality of water available to the poor, where unsafe water causes numerous deaths and the “spread” of water-related diseases, including those from microorganisms and chemical substances, shouldn’t I go to places and be in “The service to unity of the Bishop of Rome” by hampering the “spread” of the “sins against synodality“—the very sins that now place our new bishop in a position where he must “Just Say NO❣️” to being “put in his place” even if I’m among those who heard Jesus’s warning:
“But they went out and spread word of him through all that land“❓
One particularly serious problem is the quality of water available to the poor. Every day, unsafe water results in many deaths and the “spread” of water-related diseases, including those caused by microorganisms and chemical substances.
