A Bishop Who Moves About

Oh well I roam from town to town
I go through life without a care
‘Til I’m as happy as a clown
With my two fists of iron and I’m going nowhere

It seems that Bishop Zurek got caught moving about doing anything (planning a Pandemic Mass on Veterans Day) but what was expected; now he is hurriedly moving about trying to put together in a few days the opening of a synod that he’s known about for months. Is this not another current sign of the “serious mistake”?

Today is the 10th day since the solemn opening in Rome of the 2021-2023 Synod entitled “For a Synodal Church: Communion, Participation, and Mission” . Yesterday all other dioceses of the Universal Church answered the call of “journeying together”. In six days Bishop Zurek will finally open the process in the Diocese of Amarillo, even though he has strongly resisted staying in the same house with Jesus, the crowd in its diversity, the apostles (the Magisterium): this is the imagery and the mystery that must be constantly contemplated and explored in depth so that the Church may increasingly become what she is, .

Just two weeks ago St. Mary’s Cathedral was given a schedule for the Homilies for the upcoming 7 weeks. No mention of Bishop Zurek opening the Synod on October 24 was made.
This video contains the most info I have received so far on the Synod. In this announcement it was stated that there would be no Homily next week due to the proclamation of the Synod being made by Bishop Zurek.
The Diocesan Calendar is set for several months in advance, but the 2021-2023 Synod is still not on it.

None of the three actors can leave the scene, however Bishop Zurek has moved about instead of being the Lord’s friend and making known the glorious splendor of His Kingdom revealed in this synodal process by staying in the same house with Him and eating and drinking what was offered.

Perhaps His Excellency is using this moving about delay to take Jesus’s place, and fabricate a diocesan Church that is a contract with quotas between the apostles (Bishop Zurek) and the crowd (lambs) and whose dialogue will end up following the plot of the political game.

An expectation for the Respect Life Mass and Walk has been set months in advance as it should be, however no such expectation existed in the Amarillo Diocese for the expected opening celebration for Synod 2021-2023 on October 17 of this year, or the delayed opening on October 24th.

This moving about has left us for now without the apostles (Pope Francis & other bishops), authorized by Jesus and instructed by the Spirit, and so the relationship with the evangelical truth is broken, and the crowd (lambs) , whether it accepts or rejects Jesus’s call to go and bear fruit that will last, remains exposed to a myth or an ideology about him.

Instead of eating and drinking what was offered, Bishop Zurek moved about imposing uniformity and quotas on the crowd (lambs) , and the apostles’ (Bishop Zurek’s) relationship with Jesus became corrupted into a sectarian and self-referential form of religion, and evangelization, which emanated from the direct self-revelation that God addresses personally to all, offering His salvation, lost its light.

…my prayer is that Bishop Zurek stops moving about from one house to another and stays in the same house and eats and drinks what is offered him!

St. Luke pray for us!
Bishop Zurek said skip us for now.
They have left without us!

The last tweet sent by the Diocese of Amarillo almost two years ago, prior to Bishop Zurek stating in A Reflection on Christian Life, “Another concern is in the form of a question: why is it that everyone seems to believe everything that appears on a social media page, and worse, may pass it on as truth.”
