Tuesday of the Sixth Week of Easter

“And when he comes he will convict the #world . ” #todaysgospel #fresheggs

While “God created man a rational being, conferring on him the dignity of a person who can initiate and control his own actions,”[46] with a view to the good, our free will often prefers evil over good. #dignitasinfita 29

The destruction of the human environment is extremely serious, not only because God has entrusted the #world to us men and women, but because human life is itself a gift which must be defended from various forms of debasement. #laudatosi 5

My priest tells me that it is wrong for me to think of God as a tyrant, but does that mean The Holy Spirit will not convict me along with the #world…

….for God, who is not a tyrant, did create me in his image and likeness; a rational being, conferring on me the dignity of a person who can initiate and control my own actions with a view to the good; but unlike God, doesn’t my free will often prefer evil over good… #dignitasinfita 29

…and not take my destruction of the human environment as something that is extremely serious, and so not only refuse to take care of the #world that God has entrusted to me, but debase the gift of human life which must be defended… #laudatosi 5

…like fresh eggs in a nest❓
