Do I believe the Lord can overcome Bishop Zurek’s clericalism at St. Mary’s Cathedral by way of the Synod 2021-2024, “For a Synodal Church: Communion, participation, mission”; which is a, “call to to be missionary disciples” based, not on a reverence for deacons, priests and especially for bishops, but rather on, “a call to all the baptized, without exception:” for will it not take, “The whole People of God”, not just, “a greater number of priests“, to be, “an agent of the proclamation of the Gospel“, that can cast into the sea a dragnet, “that brings in a haul of all kinds“❓
We lose the capacity to realize “I, as a lay person, do not always have all the knowledge”; while it is quite probable that the deacon, priest or bishop has a much fuller picture of what is actually happening.

as a pattern for holy living.
Help us to imitate Saint Alphonsus in his zeal for souls,
that we may share his reward in heaven.

…consequently, I gain the knowledge that since “A rise in the sea level, for example, can create extremely serious situations, if we consider that a quarter of the world’s population lives on the coast or nearby, and that the majority of our megacities are situated in coastal areas“; shouldn’t I, even as a lay person, have the knowledge that clericalism can create extremely serious situations as well, and even though I am caught by, “a net thrown into the sea“, it doesn’t mean that I won’t be excluded from the Kingdom of Heaven if I wasn’t swimming with synodality ❓
