Who, “went and told“, Bishop Zurek that, “The Second Vatican Council teaches that”, not, “‘ALL’ people”, but only, “Deacons, Priests…especially bishops…and…Consecrated men and women”, “‘are called to…union with Christ, who is the light of the world; from him (they) come, through him (they) live, and towards (them) we direct our lives‘(LG, no. 3)“; and in “Reverence” to them St. Mary’s Cathedral should alter the Divine Mercy Chaplet to say,: “V. Eternal Father, I offer you the Body and Blood, soul and divinity of your dearly beloved Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, which is consecrated by a priest during the Mass!“❓

Today’s Office of the Readings

“At the heart of the synodal journey lies the desire, ancient and ever new, to communicate to ‘ALL’ the promise and the invitation of the Lord kept in the living tradition of the Church, to recognize the Risen Lord’s presence in our midst and to welcome the many fruits of the Spirit’s action“; however, “What I am afraid of is that when (our next bishop comes he) may find (us) different from what (the pope wants us) to be, and (we) may find, (as Bishop Yanta did), that (he is) not as (we) would like (him) to be; and then there will be wrangling, jealousy, and tempers roused, intrigues and backbiting and gossip, obstinacies and disorder” as there was when Bishop Matthiesen was accused of running a “shadow diocese” of clericalism during Bishop Yanta’s episcopacy; conversely, my conscience reminds me that if, “I, as a lay person”, “boast of” knowledge I don’t have the capacity for, then I’m, “lost; and if (I think myself) for this reason better than the bishop, (and park in his parking spot, then I am) lost;…

We lose the capacity to realize “I, as a lay person, do not always have all the knowledge”; while it is quite probable that the deacon, priest or bishop has a much fuller picture of what is actually happening.

Today’s First Reading

…nevertheless, “This vision of the Church – a pilgrim people in every part of the world seeking synodal conversion for the sake of mission – guides us as me move forward on this path with joy and hope“, so, “As for me, I am in your hands (Bishop Zurek);
do with me what you think good and right;…
Today’s Responsorial Psalm
…besides, “It is a vision that contrasts starkly with the reality of a world in crisis, whose wounds and scandalous inequalities resonate deeply in the hearts of all Christ’s disciples“; thus is it not a response to my prayer, “Lord, in your great love, answer me;…
Today’s Alleluia
…therefore, “It prompts us to pray for all victims of violence and injustice and to renew our commitment to work alongside the women and men who are artisans of justice and peace in every part of the world; consequently, Alleluia, alleluia;
…”Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness
for theirs is the Kingdom of heaven” and, whether it is Bishop Zurek or me who is being persecuted;
Alleluia, alleluia.…
Today’s Gospel
…indeed, just as, “Saint Bonaventure went so far as to say that human beings, before sin, were able to see how each creature “testifies that God is three”; accordingly can I, after Bishop Zurek’s sin of clericalism, be able to tell my conscience that I “went and told”, St. Mary’s Cathedral that the Eucharist is still three, not four (Father, Son, Holy Spirit, and priests), as Bishop Zurek wants me to “Reverence” ❓
