“Synodality is implemented through networks of people, communities, bodies and a set of processes that enable an effective exchange of gifts between the Churches and an evangelizing dialogue with the world“; so, what “networks of people, communities, bodies and a set of processes” did Bishop Zurek “enable” when he built the new bishop’s residence right next to his; indeed, can he say he followed St. Francis’s exhortation in Today’s Office in making his decision❓
We must not be wise and prudent according to the flesh. Rather we must be simple, humble and pure. We should never desire to be over others. Instead, we ought to be servants who are submissive to every human being for God’s sake.
From a letter from St Francis of Assisi to all the faithful
“Walking together as baptized persons in the diversity of charisms, vocations and ministries, as well as in the exchange of gifts between Churches, is an important sacramental sign for today’s world, which, on the one hand, experiences increasingly intense forms of interconnectedness, and on the other is immersed in a mercantile culture that marginalizes gratuitousness“; subsequently, could it be “intense forms of interconnectedness” that brought about the placement of our new bishop’s house since Bishop Zurek’s top down business like process limits our incoming bishop’s freedom in that he will have had no input as to where he would be living; consequently, will not he and God himself be demanding Bishop Zurek to, ” Tell me, if you know all❓
Accordingly, is not this decision of Bishop Zurek’s a sign that he considers himself as having “an exclusive position of power and separation” at his Cathedral, and one in which he does not have to pray, “Guide me, Lord, along the everlasting way.“❓

On his “Crest” all can see that Bishop Zurek chose, “For his motto, the phrase “SECUNDUM COR TUUM”; likewise, since “Secundum cor tuum” is a Latin phrase that translates to “According to Your Heart“, can it not also be used as a prayer to ask the Lord to make one’s heart like Jesus Christ’s; conversely, since Bishop Zurek was not on “this path of synodality which God expects of the Church”, when he placed our next bishop literally next to himself, can I not say that Bishop Zurek was not praying his own motto and had forgotten the injunction, “If today you hear his voice, harden not your hearts“❓

…so, isn’t the best way for me to respond to the way Bishop Zurek “rejects” the Body of Christ at his own Cathedral with his “absolute ownership: (of) “The land on which the new bishop’s residence is to be built, be to pray that our next bishop, “Just Says No” to the house that Zurek built; indeed, would that not be a strong reminder to Bishop Zurek of Christ’s words,…
“Whoever rejects you rejects me.“❓
