I do not claim the light—I stand where it falls. Truth does not need my certainty, only my willingness to see. And if Christ has entered the darkness, then no honest question can be unholy.

Twenty-one days counted.
Twenty-four years remembered. Anna waited decades. I wait still. God works in years— and none are wasted.

I wait—not idle, not resigned, but watching for the weight of truth. The Child is light enough for arms, yet heavy enough to change the world.

Family is not silence dressed as peace. It is love brave enough to flee, faith willing to speak, and a child protected even when the house must move.

I will not run to be first. I will wait to be true. Love recognizes what speed overlooks.

They covered ears; he kept his eyes on Light. Persecution wears a “reasonable” face. Lord, make my Christmas brave—and my words gentle: Truth without stones. Synodality without silence.

God did not shout His way into history. He paused. And in that pause, everything changed.

I asked God to bless the house I was building. He answered by asking whether I was willing to live in His.

I am learning Advent’s hardest verb: be. Not to fix. Not to flee. But to stay where God has already arrived. Emmanuel is not a solution —He is a presence.

God balances worlds the way a child flips toast— steady hands, no rushing, trusting the turn.
