Memorial of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary

Four bishops, four roads meeting in the fading light—Matthiesen unmoved, Yanta urging me on,
Zurek standing guard at the gate,
and Strickland crying out into the night.

Thursday of the Thirty-third Week in Ordinary Time

Two bishops on the wind-scarred ridge, one guarding silence, one crying fire. And here I stand between their shadows, praying the Spirit makes us all see—that peace is born when truth and mercy walk back together toward the same altar.
