“As an expression of the Spirit’s freedom in bestowing gifts and as a response to the needs of individual communities, there is in the Church a variety of ministries that can be exercised by any baptized man or woman. These take the form of a regular service offered to and recognized by the community and those who guide it. ‘”; however, it is only Bishop Zurek, along with the pope, who exercise the Magisterium, which is the teaching authority of the Catholic Church. The Magisterium is guided by the Holy Spirit and receives the responsibility of forming our conscience on matters such as the upcoming vote on a proposed abortion trafficking ban ordinance which has helped to make the Diocese of Amarillo a ground zero for fights over abortion in the United States; indeed, when Bishop Zurek meet his responsibility he receives my “Reverence”, but when he refuses to form our consciences on this matter, even though he may be only “a simple bishop in a small missionary diocese“, is he not acting as a childish shepherd among the, “wicked shepherds, false shepherds, shepherds who seek their own concerns and not those of Christ. They enjoy the bounty of milk and wool, but they take no care at all of the sheep, and they make no effort to heal those who are ill.“❓

“The instituted ministry of catechists has also developed (cf. Apostolic Letter in the form of motu proprio Antiquum ministerium, 10 May 2021).; nonetheless, even though Pope Francis receives catechists wherever he travels, doesn’t the fact that Bishop Zurek made no effort to attend his own Diocesan Catechetical Event on September 7 make one think that in regards to catechists His Excellency believes, “Let us beset the just one, because he is obnoxious to us;“❓

“Instituted ministries are conferred by the bishop on men and women once in a lifetime via a special rite after appropriate discernment and adequate formation. “; nevertheless, in the Diocese of Amarillo, doesn’t it appear that one receives “Reverence” only if they are “Deacons, Priests and especially…Bishops“, as if they were the only ones who can say, “The Lord upholds my life.“❓

“The time and manner of their exercise must be defined by a mandate from the legitimate authority.“; yet, when the legitimate authority receives honor by way of “jealousy and selfish ambition“, shouldn’t that answer the question, “Where do the wars and where do the conflicts among you come from“❓

“Some theological and canonical questions concerning specific forms of ecclesial ministry – in particular, the question of the necessary participation of women in the life and leadership of the Church – have been entrusted to the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith, in dialogue with the General Secretariat of the Synod (Study Group No. 5).“; therefore, even if Bishop Zurek receives only those privileged, hasn’t, “God…called us through the Gospel to possess the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.“❓
