Memorial of Saint Pius of Pietrelcina, Priest

Why does Bishop Zurek keep trying to have things hidden from us at St. Mary’s Cathedral❓

XVI ORDINARY GENERAL ASSEMBLY

OF THE SYNOD OF BISHOPS

How to be a missionary synodal Church

Part I – Relations
For the People of God: charisms and ministries
31.

While not all charisms take on properly ministerial forms, all ministries are founded on charisms given to certain members of the People of God, who are called to act in different ways so that each one in the community can participate in the building up of the body of Christ (cf. Eph 4:12), in mutual service. Like charisms, ministries must also be recognized, promoted and valued.“; however, why does Bishop Zurek keep his ministry on Sundays hidden from his own Cathedral parish by not being present for the Eucharistic celebration or not posting what he does on Sundays in his schedule: could it be that His Excellency wants us to do for him as Padre Pio says we should do for our Lord, “Whenever Jesus shows himself, give him thanks. If he hides, give him thanks: all are touches of his love.“❓

The synodal process has repeatedly highlighted how the discernment and promotion of charisms and ministries, as well as the identification of the needs of communities and society to which they are intended to respond, is an aspect in which the local Churches need to grow, giving themselves adequate criteria, tools and procedures. The Second Vatican Council teaches that it is the task of pastors “to acknowledge their [the faithful’s] ministries and their charisms, so that all may cooperate unanimously, each in her or his own way, in the common task” (LG 30). ; accordingly, is it arrogance that keeps Bishop Zurek from acknowledging my ministry of blogging about his hidden life; nonetheless, even he doesn’t, will he not end up having to give an account to God for his schedule; nevertheless, have we not been told today in Proverbs, “When dealing with the arrogant, he is stern,“❓

The discernment of charisms and ministries is a properly ecclesial act: in order to recognize and promote them, the bishop is obliged to listen to the voice of all those involved: individual faithful, communities, and participative bodies. To this end, procedures suitable to the different contexts must be identified, always taking care to make possible a real consensus on the criteria and outcomes of discernment.“; consequently, could it be that since Bishop Zurek did not fulfill his obligation to listen to all those involved before terminating Principal Lydia O’Rear in the middle of the last school year, that consequently, he had to keep hidden the fact that St. Mary’s Cathedral School enrollment is down 25% this year; indeed, could it not be that it is said of Lydia, “The just one shall live on your holy mountain, O Lord.“❓

Alleluia, alleluia,
The results of the “Parish Priests for the Synod” meeting strongly emphasize these needs” of “always taking care to make possible a real consensus on the criteria and outcomes of discernment”, conversely, hasn’t Bishop Zurek’s hiddenness influenced our Rector at St. Mary’s Cathedral so that it has become difficult for him to, “Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your heavenly Father.“❓
Alleluia, alleluia

Frequently, we find beautiful and carefully manicured green spaces in so-called “safer” areas of cities, but not in the more hidden areas where the disposable of society live.“;…

…similarly, does Bishop Zurek not make visible the so-called “safer” areas of his life like having the 13th Red Mass Scheduled, or reflecting on, Abortion: The Scriptures And Discrimination, since these things bring him wealth, power and honor; but when it comes to the more disposable areas of his episcopacy, like not posting his whereabouts when he is not present at his Cathedral on Sundays; or the negative effect his termination of St. Mary’s former principal is having on the Cathedral School; instead, are not these things kept hidden; still, should not Bishop Zurek remember, and I have hope,…

“‘For there is nothing hidden that will not become visible,…'”
